Ep. 103 – The Power of Forgiveness feat. Jennifer Hetland
God said, “Jennifer, you give so little grace to others because you give so little grace to yourself.”
On this side of heaven, we are all “in process” and we need to give ourselves and others grace. Having high standards isn’t wrong, but we need to be willing to walk with people as they navigate pain and grow through it.
When people in authority misrepresent Jesus to us, we have the opportunity to love each other the way Christ loves us. We show who Jesus is when we don’t want revenge. Any time there’s unforgiveness, you have given someone else power over you. We can’t allow our wounds to become excuses that hinder us from growing into all that we are called to be. Ultimately we need to get our nutrients from the Father, not from a person.

Wow, what an amazing podcast with Jennifer. So many truths that needed to be heard. As I navigate this process of grief and healing it is so beautiful how God answers. I asked so many questions this morning and I opened an email from global missions awareness. Sometimes when maybe I needed to listen He directs me to where I can. Thank you so much for your honesty and vulnerable heart. Blessings
