Interview with Jack Taylor

We are so excited to have Jack Taylor (Papa Jack) joining us this year at Kingdom Family Gathering!

During the last 40 years he has traveled extensively, ministering the word of God to the Body of Christ at large. With a visit to Toronto in August of 1994 during which significant personal healing took place both physically and spiritually, his ministry took a dramatic turn with increased manifestations of the power of the Holy Spirit. Jack continues to preach in the United States and the nations in churches of many denominations. Jack has authored 13 widely accepted books, many CD’s and video series. He married Friede on December 28, 2004. They both enjoy traveling together.

We recently connected with Papa Jack to discuss life, ministry…and joining Leif at the Kingdom Family Gathering.

Q: Jack, Is there a significant encounter with the Lord that impacted your life and propelled you into your calling? Two significant encounters stand out to me, the day I received Christ 73 years ago and then 47 years ago when I was baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Q: What song do you have on repeat in this season? I absolutely love the song Seek First by Jason Upton. I hope to hear him lead this live with Bread and Wine at the Gathering!

Q: What is your favorite or most memorable place you have travelled to? Sonnsblick, Austria is one of my favorite places, in fact I am heading there tomorrow!

Q: What book are you currently reading or have recently read that is impacting your life? Cosmic Initiative, it is a book I actually wrote because I feel that discovering the kingdom is not just information but an adventure in revelation and transformation!

Q: What was your first job and what did it teach you? I was a farmer and it taught me the importance of responsibility.

Q: If you could invite three people to dinner from any point in history, who would you invite? I would love to have dinner with the three people who I have had the honor to share life with; my first wife, Barbara, my second wife, Jerry and my third wife, Friede (no, I haven’t been married to them all at the same time).

Q: What does family look like to you in connection with your personal ministry and calling? It looks like the KINGDOM! The Kingdom is one big happy family of God!

Q: Can you share an experience where an atmosphere of praise profoundly shifted an environment? Wow, there are so many to be remembered. One of my latest was when I was preaching to a crowd of Americans, Germans and Russians at David’s Tabernacle Church in Lage, Germany. I wept through the entire service.

Q: What motivates and inspires you to keep doing what you do? Seeking the kingdom, FIRST!
