It’s Time To See, Say & Seize Your Promises!

Did you know that ninety percent of America has a view of God that doesn’t look like Jesus? The way we see God will affect the way we see the world around us.

If you feel that God is always in a mood swing rather than in a good mood, then you will always feel stuck, trying to live for God instead of from God. The Father wants you to see the way He sees, think the way He thinks, feel what He feels so that you can love the world the way He loves.

The starting point is opening our eyes to look into the eyes of a loving Father. The answer to every problem in the world can be found in the face of Jesus. What you behold, you become. What overwhelms you will shape you. Jesus says in John 5:19, “I only do what I see my Father doing.” When I look at His face I see hope, provision, and healing.

There is a convergence taking place on the earth. I believe it is a time for us to See, Say and Seize what God has for us so that we can partner with Him in this convergence of Glory.

SEE

It’s easy for us to have a distorted spiritual vision. Maybe some of us are color-blind, have tunnel vision, or are far-sighted. If I have captured the look of Love, then I will begin to see into the unloved realms. What you behold, you become. What overwhelms you, shapes you. Once I’ve looked into the face of Jesus, I can look in the mirror and see how God sees me. Only then will I have 20/20 vision to see the world around me. I will begin to treat people based on their destiny rather than their history.

So Jesus said, “I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from himself or through my own initiative. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father. 20 “Because the Father loves his Son so much, he always reveals to me everything that he is about to do. And you will all be amazed when he shows me even greater works than what you’ve seen so far! 21 For just like the Father has the power to raise the dead, the Son will raise the dead and give life to whomever he wants. John 5:19-21

As Jesus reflects the face of the Father to the world around Him, the lepers are healed, the oppressed are set free and the dead are raised! When we see His face, we see hope, provision, and healing. Like Jesus, His reflection allows us to be a people full of love, power, and wisdom.

SAY

Sometimes you speak into existence what you already see and other times you have to declare it before you can see it. God said let there be light and then there was light. Kingdom matters will be settled through declaration because the word of God doesn’t return void. I call it the stirring Spirit and the spoken word. When the Spirit stirs me I begin to speak and declare what God is saying. I speak to my mind, I speak to my body and prophesy God’s promises to the giants I’m facing. The seeds that you speak grow and transform you from the inside out.

“because as He is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17

God desires to heal our hope so that we can declare in faith what He says about us! Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

There are things that are true but it is the Truth that sets you free. Begin to declare the Truth! You can change the environment with a declaration.

Faith sometimes says something different than our circumstances but knowing the Truth and then declaring the Truth sets you free.

Practice declaring these faith statements over your life:

I am forgiven.
I am reconciled with God.
I am rescued.
I am redeemed.
I am known by God.
I  am chosen.
I am pure.
I am holy.
I am accepted.
I am free.
I am alive.
I am loved.
I am healed.

SEIZE

Do you ever wonder how you can fully walk in the promises God has for you? Many of us can see the promise and believe it but don’t know how to seize it!

First, we must keep the main thing the main thing: take time to be in the secret place with God.

Get in alignment before you step into the assignment. When you are in His Presence you are in your Promised Land.

There are times we may be able to see the promised land, but there are giants guarding it. We must learn to occupy the land and remove the giants.

1. Confess and renounce any of the giants occupying the land. It may be fear, doubt, unforgiveness, resentment, whatever it is, let it go and give it to the Father.

2. Practice. David played the harp when nobody was watching. God sent the one to battle who first practiced His harp.

3. Show Up. Show up for the right battle.

4. Name Your Goliath. When you have a name for your giant; you will find the name of God that defeats that giant.

What are some of the tools you have to solve issues and partner with God? Co-labor with Him so you can seize your land.
