The Divine Exchange At The Cross

Do you know that you are free? If a slave has been freed, but isn’t aware of their freedom, what good is freedom to them?
We can live our whole lives believing we are slaves because we don’t realize what Jesus paid for on the cross and how to access to the fullness of what He provided for us Jesus paid the price so we no longer have to live from measure, but get to live from fullness.
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. … When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing.”
-Galatians 3:13
Do you realize what was actually accomplished on the cross?
Jesus was punished so that we could be forgiven.
(Isaiah 53:5)
Jesus was wounded so that we could be healed.
(Isaiah 53:5)
Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness so we could be made righteous with His righteousness.
(2 corinthians 5:21)
Jesus died our death so we could receive His life.
(2 Corinthians 5:15)
Jesus was made cursed so we could receive the blessings.
(Galatians 3:13)
Jesus endured our poverty so that we might share in His abundance.
(2 Corinthians 9:8)
Jesus became an orphan so that you and I could be sons and daughters.
(John 14:18)
Are you living a life in the fullness of the abundance that Jesus has provided for you?
Whatever you are going through, Jesus can empathize with your weakness because He has felt it all. He took care of it all of it so that you didn’t have to live in it.
This is the gospel. This is the good news. This kind of news can lead to dancing!
