Global Mission Awareness is a family of families passionate about the pursuit and expansion of the Kingdom of God.
We are committed to empowering the mission force to co-labor with God for the transformation of individuals, communities, and people groups in the mission field.
Our mission is to educate, equip and mobilize individuals and organizations to intentionally and strategically collaborate and engage in reaching the unreached people groups with the Good News of the Kingdom of God.
We represent the Father in all aspects of life and our calling as His sons and daughters.
(John 4:34, John 17:4; John 14:9; John 17:26; John 3:16)
Jesus is our Model and standard for all that we are and all that we do. Our identity is one with Christ. Our passion is to follow Him and to live and love just like Jesus.
(Galatians 2:20, Philippians 1:21, 1 Corinthians 2:2, Philippines 3:7-12; Colossians 1:15-20)
We rely on the leading and the anointing of the Holy Spirit in every endeavor and assignment that God is calling us. We pursue demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit and we are passionate in cultivating a supernatural lifestyle from the place of abiding.
(Acts 1:8; Zechariah 4:6, Luke 4:18-21)
We believe that the Agape love of God never fails and that our lives and works flow out of the reality that we are rooted and grounded in love. We love others without agenda, no hooks, no discrimination. We love as He loves us.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-7, 13:13; John 13:34; John 15:9; John 15:13, John 17:26)
We believe that the Kingdom of God is a family business. We aim to cultivate empowering cultures and covenantal relationships where a healthy Kingdom community founded in true identity, love, honor and accountability is intentionally fostered.
(Ephesians 3:14-21; Matthew 6 9-13)
We are committed to taking part in reaching out to the unreached people groups and finishing the unfinished task. His last command is our first priority. The gospel is only Good News if it gets there on time. We carry God’s love for the world to the world.
(Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 24:14; Mark 16:15-18, John 17:23)
We are agents, servant-sons and daughters of the unshakeable Kingdom and the unchanging King Jesus. We live to seek, proclaim, demonstrate, and expand the Kingdom of God in all spheres of society, among individuals and nations.
(Matthew 6:33, Luke 10:1-11, Matthew 24:4)
Leif Hetland is the president of Global Mission Awareness and he ministers globally bringing an impartation of God’s love, healing, and apostolic authority through a paradigm of kingdom family. A forerunner in modern-day missions, Leif has brought the gospel into some of the most spiritually dark areas of the world. Over one million souls have been saved through his ministry.
Jennifer Hetland came to know Christ at an early age. She started out as a minister’s child and then married a minister, as well. Her ministry is first and foremost to her family: Leif and their four adult children, Leif Emmanuel, Laila, Courtney, and Katherine. She carries a heart for women and young people. Affectionately called, “Mama Jen,” she wants them to be all that God has created them to be. Her heart for releasing identity is evident in each of the children’s books that she has authored, which tell the story of her own children’s journey.
